This place is definitely not for everyone but its nice if you like to live in a small town and enjoy a slow paced lifestyle. You can get most things in town as they have an IGA grocery store, hardware store, a couple banks, a medical clinic, denist offices, a couple gas stations, liquor store, a few places to dine out in town and a serval other businesses. If you can't find what you need, just run to North Pole or Fairbanks. Its only 85-100 miles and Its a beautiful ride. The winter can be rough. Definitely get several "happy lights" for your house. Had to transfer cell phone carriers from T-Mobile to AT&T for better reception.
